The Parks and Recreation Services

division provides opportunities for residents, primarily through collaboration with neighboring agencies and organizations to promote healthy lifestyles, increase educational attainments, strengthen community image and establish a livable community.

Current Park Status:

Gateway Park
Restrooms – open with physical distancing guidelines
Playground – open with physical distancing guidelines
Dog park – open with physical distancing guidelines
Ramadas – open with physical distancing guidelines
Walking Path – open with physical distancing guidelines
Skate park – open with physical distancing guidelines
Basketball courts – open with physical distancing guidelines
Splash Pad – under construction, scheduled to open by June 30
Ball fields – closed, scheduled to open by June 14

Gentry Park

Facility/park reservations must be requested a minimum of 48 hours prior to the desired date and time. Reservations for the upcoming weekend (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday) must be made by 2:30 pm Thursday of that week. All reservations for ramadas must be approved by the office of Customer Service.

The City of El Mirage is in partnership with the Dysart Unified School District, Dysart Community Center (Non-Profit) and the Maricopa County Library District. Together with the City of El Mirage, these agencies are dedicated to improving the quality of life for El Mirage residents while working cooperatively and collaboratively.
