   Meet the Fire Department Administration

Since we are a small department, every member takes on extra duties to help support our small administrative staff. 

The Fire administration consists of the Fire Chief and an Administrative Assistant.

Fire Administration is responsible for:

  • Research, Planning and Development
  • Budgeting
  • Records Management Systems
  • Emergency Preparedness

Records Request
If you need a fire report or a medical report you must complete a records request through the City Clerk’s office.

    Fire Operations

    The El Mirage Fire Department provides services to mitigate the effects of a variety of emergency situations including medical, physical entrapments, fires and releases of hazardous materials. The provisions of these services are the responsibility of Emergency Services.

    Resources within the department include 24 uniform people who staff and deliver service from Station 121, 24-hours per day, 7 days a week. The engine company is manned with a Captain, an Engineer and 2 Firefighters. Each of these members hold the title of EMT or Paramedic. In addition, our Brush Truck is equipped for ILS calls and manned with an Engineer Paramedic and an EMT Firefighter.

    Along with emergency work, Firefighters provide a wide range of services to the community including CPR classes, blood pressure screening, tours, and fire safety presentations.
