The Engineering Division is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the services and activities of consulting engineers, as well as providing in-house engineering services. The Engineering Division interacts with the public, property owners, public/private organizations, citizens, developers, contractors, and other City departments to address City engineering activities which include, but are not limited to the following:
· Capital Improvement Project Planning and Management
· City Mapping (GIS)
· Flood Plain Management
· Infrastructure Planning
· Inspections of Construction Projects to Assure Quality
· Private Development Review to Assure Conformance of City Requirements
· Roadway Construction and Maintenance
· Storm Water Management
· Surveying
