II.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JUNE 15, 2005

 

III.   WITHDRAWALS AND CONTINUANCES

1.      CU05-0429: Scott Quinn of Quinn United Enterprises,

     agent for Cingular and Keven & Charlotte Pauling,

     requests conditional use for a telecommunications tower

     at Keven’s Landscaping  at 10341 N. El Mirage Rd.

     [Continued from Comm. meeting of June 15, 2005]

 

IV.  NEW BUSINESS

1.      SP05-0315: Mike Munninger of Architectural Alliance,

     agent for Ernst Family Trust, requests site plan approval

     & sign plan for Maaco Auto Paint at 12555 NW Grand Av.

 

2.      ZT05-0615: Proposal to amend the definition of “Kiosk 

            Sign” in Sign Ordinance of the Zoning Ordinance deleting

            the reference to them being “owned by the City”.

 

       3. ZT05-0628: Proposal to amend Sections 14-4-3, 14-5-8,

           &14-5-10 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow all retail uses

           in all B-3 General Business Zones & I-2 General Industrial  

           Zones. [Some areas subject to airport noise overlays.]

 

       4.  Proposal to rezone all lots along Honcho Street from

            R-4 Mobile Home Res. to R-1a Single Family Res.

  

       5.  Discussion/Direction on Zoning Design Standards

 

V.   CALL TO THE  PUBLIC ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS

       Items under this portion of the agenda cannot be discussed or acted on   

         by the Commission until provisions of Open Meeting Law are met.

 

VI.   STAFF REPORT ON PAST AND PENDING PROJECTS

 

VII.  SUMMARY OF CURRENT EVENTS BY COMMISSIONERS

       The Commission may not discuss or act upon any matter in the summary

         unless the specific matter is properly noticed for legal action.

 

VIII. EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Commission may adjourn into executive session to receive legal advice on topics listed on the agenda.  [A.R.S. §38-431.03.A.3.]
