COUNCIL SUMMARY OF CURRENT
EVENTS - NONE
CITY MANAGER SUMMARY OF
Cornwall, City Manager. We had our first US Census Training which went well
and we should be one of the biggest benefactors of that Census. We have
contracted to have a warrant study at El Mirage and Cactus for the left turn
signal. We receive a number of complaints regarding Dysart and Thunderbird
which is in the third phase of the bond issue and we are moving forward on
that. We are looking at a temporary solution. Surprise has a 25% impact at
that intersection and they are willing to sit down with us. Monday night at 6p.m. we are having the first of our Public Hearings on the Impact Fees. We are still
meeting and progressing with PERC. Road improvements on El Mirage are on
schedule. We will be presenting the results of the independent audit at the
meeting on the 24th. He introduced Jennifer Cutler, the new
reporter for the Surprise Today.
